She is still flying high! Sheryl Crow may have three marriage engagements under her belt — with none of them reaching walking down the aisle — but don’t think for a second the legendary singer is bummed about that at all, as she is in fact quite the opposite.

The 57-year-old attended the 44th Annual Gracie Awards on Tuesday, May 21, at the Four Seasons Beverly Wilshire Hotel in California, and not only did the nine-time Grammy award-winner get to perform on stage during the ceremony supporting The Alliance for Women in Media Foundation (AWMF), but she even got to share some words in-between the performance.

“It’s so nice to be in a room with inspiring women. I’ve met several woman tonight who are in fact one who owns her own radio conglomerate. And that just doesn’t happen in my business, if you know what I’m saying,” the “Soak Up the Sun” singer told the audience. “That’s where the booze come in really handy. So we were doing sound check today and then I realized that, I was like, ‘Okay let’s do If It Makes You Happy, let’s do Strong Enough to be my Man’ and I’m thinking, ‘You’re gonna play Strong Enough at the Gracie Awards.'”

“And all I can say is that I’ve been engaged three times. And I never got married, but I’ve had a rockin’ great time, not getting married,” Sheryl added, to many cheers from the crowd.

The hitmaker has had various high-profile relationships, most notably with disgraced former cyclist Lance Armstrong, who she was engaged to in 2005, before calling it quits in 2006. Some other famous faces that Sheryl has been involved with include fellow musician and legend Eric Clapton and actor Owen Wilson. However, while she has never gotten married, the performer still made it a priority to have children, and she has done just that.

Sheryl adopted sons Wyatt, 12, and Levi, 9, in 2007 and 2010. “Motherhood changes everything,” she once exclusively told Closer Weekly. “They’re the first thing I think of in the morning and the last thing I think of at night,” she said of her two boys. “They go everywhere I go. … They love having dance parties before bed. And they always get to pick the music. I just hope they love music, and I can tell they do,” she added.

Sheryl is quite the inspiration!
