She’s not holding back! Sherri Shepherd appeared on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen on Sunday, July 22, and revealed what she thinks of Meghan McCain on The View, the same show she co-hosted from 2007 until 2014 (Seasons 11-17).

“She just has to evolve. She has to get used to sitting there at that table,” Sherri said of Meghan, who previously joined The View in 2017 as the conservative voice on the program. “I think she has to not take the whole Republican world on her shoulders. It’s too much to take that whole world. It’s like, you are not the Republican voice. It makes you stressed. It makes you tense.” Sherri added, “So, I think just being able to lighten up a little.” Awkward!

Sherri’s diss to Meghan came just one day before one of The View‘s other co-hosts Sara Haines shared she’s leaving the talk show to join Good Morning America with Michael Strahan on ABC. “Ahhhhhhhh!! Not even sure I can find the words to adequately express how excited I am to sit next to @MichaelStrahan as we embark on this new journey at @GMA #GMADay… it is (and has been) a dream of mine for a LONG time,” she wrote.

“It’s bittersweet though as I leave @TheViewABC, a place I have called home for the past couple years. A huge thank you to all the viewers and fans who have followed me along the way. I LOVE my View family, but don’t worry, my brand new view is literally down the street,” the mom-of-two continued.

Once Sara officially departs the NBC program, the remaining co-hosts will be Meghan, Sunny Hostin, Joy Behar, and Whoopi Goldberg. Perhaps Sherri will now return to her old seat on the series?
