The family of David Cassidy is heartbroken after his death on Nov. 21, but they are determined to keep his memory alive. His little brother Shaun Cassidy took to Twitter on Nov. 22 to remember some of the good times they spent together as children, and the story is absolutely touching.

"When I was a little boy and my big brother would come to visit, the first call of business would be a punishing pillow fight," he explained of The Partridge Family star. "During the battle, he would regale me with hysterical stories of our father, often culminating in his taking a giant leap off my top bunk. I tried to catch him of course. I always tried to catch him. But I never could."

"Now, I will carry him, along with all of the funny/sad/extraordinary days we shared, none more filled with love than these last few at his side," he said, ending the heartfelt note. David had a strained relationship with some of his family members due to years of alcohol abuse, but they still rushed to his side all the same when his liver and kidneys began to fail last week. Though he was originally put into a coma, he was awake and conscious on Saturday, able to spend quality time with his family.
