Perhaps online dating isn’t one of Sharon Stone‘s basic instincts! The beloved actress revealed she attempted to join the online dating trend until she was blocked out of her account after fellow users reported her as fake. Although Sharon’s profile was the real deal, she joked about the end of her unsuccessful run on Bumble in a series of tweets.

“I went on the @bumbledating site and they closed my account,” the 61-year-old beauty tweeted on Monday, December 30. “Some users reported that it couldn’t possibly be me! Hey @bumble, is being me exclusionary? Don’t shut me out of the hive!”

Just in case her followers didn’t believe her, Sharon also shared a screenshot of Bumble’s message. “You’ve been blocked,” the notice read. “We’re committed to keeping Bumble safe, which means we have to enforce certain rules when our values are violated. Your account has been blocked because we’ve received several reports about your profile being fake.” Poor Sharon!

Fans of the Casino actress naturally took to her Twitter replies and joked about their romantic lives after hearing the news of Sharon’s online dating snafu. “If Sharon Stone NEEDS a dating site, what hope do the rest of us have?one fan wrote, while another echoed, “If Sharon Stone can’t get a date, honestly, there’s no hope for the rest of us. I’ll just settle for life with my books and my three cats.”

After a few hours being blocked out of her account, one of Bumble’s employees came to the rescue to let her know everything was fixed. “AHA! @sharonstone, we at @bumble found your account, unblocked you and ensured this won’t happen again,” the app’s editorial director wrote in a reply. “You can get back to Bumbling! Thanks for bearing with us and hope you find your honey.”

Sharon’s attempt at online dating comes almost a year after she was last linked to boyfriend Angelo Boffa. Although the Golden Globe winner — who was previously married to Phil Bronstein from 1998 to 2004, as well as Michael Greenburg from 1984 to 1987 — has kept mum regarding the details of their split, she’s seems to be doing OK.

In fact, Sharon couldn’t be happier to be the proud mom of three adopted sons, Roan, 19, Laird, 14, and Quinn, 13. While chatting with Closer Weekly in 2015, the blonde beauty exclusively opened up about how becoming a mother has changed her life in profound ways.

“I find that it creates such an incredible meaning and such a compelling sense of intimacy and understanding that it’s hard to relate to people that don’t have children,” she confided at the time. “Like every mom, there are just not enough hours in the day, especially when you’re a working mom. I love the Alicia Keys song ‘Superwoman’ — that’s kind of my motto. I listen to that and it gets me going. I know we are all kind of doing the same thing.”

Here’s to hoping Sharon has some luck on Bumble!
