Wife approves! Sharon Osbourne opened up about husband Ozzy Osbourne‘s performance at the 2019 AMAs. The former music executive couldn’t help but gush over the rock ‘n’ roll crooner’s highly anticipated performance of “Take What You Want From Me” alongside Post Malone and Travis Scott at the 47th annual awards show.

“Oh, it was so good! The show — obviously it was the American Music Awards, so it’s all pop music and pretty little girls coming on one after the other with their little dances,” the 67-year-old beauty said of the prestigious event, which aired live on Sunday, November 24, during a recent episode of The Talk. “And then suddenly this ugly lot of guys get up there and they nailed it!” LOL!

The CBS daytime show cohost — who cheered Ozzy, 70, on from the audience as he rocked his first performance in over a year — commended the music artists for going above and beyond. “There was more pyro than I had ever seen,” she said of the eye catching stage effects. Sharon then joked about being worried that her highly respected hubby would hurt himself on stage.

“I’m like, ‘Oh, God, Ozzy, please don’t move! Everything has happened except [being] set on fire. Please don’t move!'” she quipped as her fellow cohosts broke out in laughter. “Of course he’s moving around and I’m like, ‘Oh, God, did we put on hairspray?'” Ha!

Sharon beamed with joy as she recalled watching the three men finish out the performance. “And then, the guitar player goes boom with his guitar and I’m like, ‘Yes! Yes!'” Aww!

As fans know, Ozzy’s been taking it easy the past year after suffering a slew of health issues — including the serious neck operation, pneumonia and surgery for an infection in his hand. Prior to the start of the annual awards show, the former Black Sabbath frontman and Sharon — who tied the knot in 1982 — skipped the red carpet arrivals.

However, the couple’s daughter Kelly Osbourne stepped in for her famous mom and dad. As she arrived at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, the Dancing With the Stars alum, 35, opened up about her father’s health issues, including the serious surgery he underwent after suffering a neck injury last November.

“[The collaboration] took six months because dad had the accident and had to have surgery,” Kelly shared with hosts, referring to her dad’s hit song with Post Malone and Travis Scott. “He fractured the spine in his neck.”

Prior to the awards show, Sharon — who also shares kids Aimee Osbourne, 36, and Jack Osbourne, 34, with Ozzy — got fans excited for her hubby’s showstopping gig. She couldn’t help but gush over the incredible opportunity while chatting with her cohosts on a recent episode of The Talk.

“I mean it’s great news, it’s fun, but it’s just a TV show,” she teased before announcing Ozzy’s performance. “He’s doing the American Music Awards.”

We think Ozzy absolutely killed it!
