For the 20th season of Dancing with the Stars, professional dancer and choreographer Sharna Burgess is sharing her inside scoop with ‘Closer’ readers — everything from show highlights and behind the scenes secrets to her experience dancing with Army veteran and double amputee, Noah Galloway! Read her week seven blog post below.

I am so incredibly proud of Noah and his wonderful performances during last night’s show! It was a super stressful week for us — we lost a few rehearsal days because of travel conflicts, and I was concerned about us pulling our dance together by Monday. There were two full solo dances for Noah to learn in four days, and while he’s such a hard worker, it simply takes longer for us to perfect his dances.

Last night, despite many obstacles, Noah absolutely killed his performances! He wants to win so much and it shows every time he dances. Our trio partner, Emma, was an amazing addition to the group this week, and we loved working with her!

Next week, we’re dancing the Viennese Waltz, in addition to another dance — but we don’t know what type of dance that will be yet! I can’t believe that if we survive tonight’s double elimination, we’ll be in the semi-finals of the competition.

I truly hope I can take Noah to the finals. I know there are so many talented stars left in the competition — but if we win, it will be a dream come true for both Noah and me.

We have so much love for all of our Team Shway fans, thank you for continuing to support us and voting! We will keep making you proud!

Xo,
Sharna
