Kim Cattrall is on the mend after a car crashed into the front of her house earlier this week.

The Sex and the City star, 59, took to Twitter on Tuesday, Feb. 23 to share scary photos of the accident, which occurred while Kim was inside her Vancouver Island, British Columbia home that morning.

"A senseless 16-year-old driver plowed into my home joy riding at 1:00 a.m. People could have been killed. You should be ashamed," Kim wrote alongside two images showing both the totaled SUV and the extensive damage the vehicle did to her property.

When a concerned fan later asked if she was hurt in the incident, the actress tweeted, "[I am] shaken up, but OK. This young girl could have killed herself, her friends and me. Frightening."

A spokesperson for the Courtenay, Comox Valley police department told The Independent their investigation into the crash is "ongoing."
