Seth Meyers and Wife Alexi Ashe Welcome Baby No. 1 - Closer Weekly

Congratulations are in order for Seth Meyers!

The Late Night with Seth Meyers host welcomed a baby boy with wife Alexi Ashe on Easter Sunday.

The 42-year-old shared the exciting news on Twitter, writing, “Thank you everyone for the kind words! Mom and baby are doing great!!!”

“I can also confirm that when you have a baby in New York you pretty much just sing ‘The Schuyler Sisters’ for the first 12 hours,” he continued, referencing the Broadway show Hamilton.

This is the first child for the couple, who announced the pregnancy last November. The comedian did not reveal the baby’s name, but will be sharing more details on his show Tuesday night.

The Saturday Night Live alum wed the 31-year-old human rights lawyer in Martha’s Vineyard in 2013.
