Selma Blair Thanks Her ‘Sister Soul’ Pink for Being Her ‘Inspiration for Joy Every Day’
We wish we could be best friends with Selma Blair and Pink! The 46-year-old actress recently shared the most hilarious photo of her and the “Raise Your Glass” songstress to Instagram after they had a very memorable encounter outside of Pink’s luxurious home.
“This picture was taken after the most dramatic stop drop and roll maneuver performed by yours truly. I was so startled to see @pink 💓💓 come up behind me (at her house, mind you) that my overactive startle reflex kicked in and I went flying,” she jokingly penned the caption next to a pic of them laughing. “This happens to me. My kid thinks it is hysterical. My beloved friend… we had a good laugh too. My favorite. Fall, tackle, hug, laugh, repeat. Take a picture. #heaven.”
In Selma’s funny caption, she explained that it’s always a great to run into Pink, 39, (or be startled by her) because the singer can uplift anyone even on their lowest days.
“My inspiration for joy every day @pink I love you so much,” she wrote. “#nobodydoesitbetter thank you for loving life to the fullest. #love love #pink #selma #keepsmegoing #hurts2bhuman 👻 we cried 😂 best drop and roll around partner ever 🙌. I love you sister soul.”
Pink’s optimistic attitude might be just what Selma needs to help her stay positive while battling MS. In a previous Instagram post, the Cruel Intentions actress opened up about how sick she’s been feeling lately. “Here’s [the] truth. I feel sick as all hell. I am vomiting and all the things which are not polite to speak of,” Selma shared. “The medical treatments take their toll. I am going to get through this.”
Even though somedays might be better than others for Selma, she can always rely on Pink to give her a good laugh and make her feel better!
