See This Year’s Golden Globes Nominees At Their First Award Show

On Jan. 6, 2019, the Golden Globes will be seen by millions of people around the world. And while we weren’t there in person for certain moments from past award shows, the same cannot be said for some of the men and women who are nominated this year.

This isn’t the first rodeo at the Globes for some of this year’s talented nominees. In fact, some of these faces have been at the award show before. And this show has plenty of history, with the first airing way back in 1944. So you can’t be surprised when people like Robert Redford look like they’ve been there before — because they have. Robert was first nominated in 1966 for a film titled Inside Daisy Clover. He was 29 years old. Fast-forward 53 years later and the actor has been nominated again, this time for The Old Man and the Gun. The only difference? He’s 82 years old. We’re sure the gift bags have changed during that time.

So join us as we take you on a journey through Hollywood memory lane by showing you the first Golden Globes of people like Christian BaleJulia RobertsNicole Kidman, and more. And you don’t even have to step into a time machine to see this blast from the past.
