REPORTSean Spicer Wanted for Season 25 of ‘Dancing With the Stars’

Like Melissa McCarthy or the real Sean Spicer? A new report from The New York Post claims the 45-year-old politician is wanted as a contestant on the upcoming Season 25 of Dancing With the Stars — and let’s just say we’d love to see his tango…

This big news comes just days after Sean quit his job as the White House Press Secretary. After he resigned, actor Zach Braff joked on Twitter, “Can’t wait to see Sean Spicer waltz on Dancing With the Stars.”

An insider told the news outlet that ABC has reached out to him to appear on the reality dancing competition, however, Sean said, “I have no comment.” An ABC rep added, “We don’t comment on casting.”

Sean wouldn’t be the first politician to join the popular series. Just last season, former Texas Governor and current US Secretary of Energy Rick Perry challenged his inner dance moves in the ballroom during Season 23. However, he didn’t make it very far, as he was the second person voted out with his pro partner, Emma Slater, who took home the Mirror Ball Trophy with her celeb partner Rashad Jennings last season!

DWTS usually come back in mid-September and this is the first casting rumor since Season 24 wrapped up. We really can’t wait to see if Sean makes it to the ballroom in just a few months!
