It's Not Alright!Tiffani Thiessen Says There Won’t Be a ‘Saved by the Bell’ Reunion (EXCLUSIVE)
We all remember when Saved by the Bell graced our TV screens, but unfortunately, the days of Bayside High School are over for good. Actress Tiffani Thiessen, who played the beloved Kelly Kapowski on the hit series, debunked any and all hope for a show revival in the future in an exclusive interview with Closer Weekly.
“None of us have any desire or could even do that. Most of us are doing other things anyway. Our best reunion was doing something with [The Tonight Show With] Jimmy Fallon and just before that, we got together and did a People magazine cover, so that was plenty for us,” she revealed while teaming up with Uncle Ben’s for Ben’s Beginners Cooking Contest.
Saved by the Bell aired from 1989 until 1993 and also starred Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Mario Lopez, Dustin Diamond, Lark Voorhies, Elizabeth Berkley, and Dennis Haskins. While this news is quite a bummer, we WILL be seeing Tiffani again in a new Netflix comedy series called Alexa & Katie.
“That will hopefully be premiering early next year, it looks like maybe March. It’s called Alexa & Katie. I play the mother of one of the leads. It’s about two girls embarking into high school and they’re best friends and I play the mother of Alexa,” she explained. We certainly can’t wait to watch!
According to a press release, “The Ben’s Beginners Cooking Contest has helped motivated thousands of families to cook together – now parents can submit photos of their aspiring chefs preparing a rice-based dish together at www.unclebens.com using #BensBeginners to enter for the chance to win one of five Grand Prize packages — which includes $15,000 cash, a $30,000 cafeteria makeover for their child’s school and a hometown celebration. Families can find inspiration.”
