"I’m so, so lucky,” she admitted. “I was just hoping that everything would turn out okay.” Savannah — who welcomed son Charley with husband Mike Feldman last December — was so nervous at times that she even held off on buying baby clothes because she "didn’t want to jinx it."

The morning talk show host is also mom to a daughter, Vale, 2, who she explained is still adjusting to having a baby brother.

"There hasn’t been any of those horror stories that I’ve heard about! But she definitely is a little more clingy to Mommy,” Savannah explained. "It is true that pretty much every time she sees me holding Charley, she comes right over, drops whatever she’s doing and says, ‘Mommy, pick me up!'"

Aww! We can't blame little Vale for wanting more of her mom's attention. Thankfully, Savannah said the toddler enjoys being a big sister. "So, there’s definitely a little competition there, but she really loves Charley," she said. "She’s into him."

Savannah ended her maternity leave early and returned to Today earlier this month due to lower ratings during her absence. Despite the fact that Lester Holt and Bryant Gumbel were co-hosting alongside Matt Lauer during her leave, the show's viewership was reportedly declining.

A source close to the show said, "Their bro-show didn’t work. They needed Savannah to bail them out, so they rushed her from maternity leave. NBC claimed it was because of the influx of news, but the reality is that the show was down double-digits and they needed her."

We're glad that Savannah is doing well and is back on the show!
