Since welcoming her daughter, Vale, last summer, Savannah Guthrie has happily voiced her challenges with getting fit after baby.

So it’s no surprise the ‘Today’ co-host revealed in a new interview that nearly nine-months after giving birth, she’s still working on getting her post-baby body back!

“I gained 42 pounds with Vale so I guess there was a lot to take off, but I think you have to give yourself time and I definitely wasn’t one of those people that just bounces back overnight, I just don’t have those genes,” the ‘Today’ co-host, 43, said.

The star — who welcomed baby Vale last August with husband Mike Feldman, 46 — also admitted she’s been working to shed the excess post-pregnancy pounds by merely making healthier diet choices.

“There’s always pressure no matter what job you’re in or what you do for a living to look a certain way, but I feel pretty thankful I haven’t been too caught up in that. I try to eat right, I haven’t really exercised much at all, but I plan to change that,” she said.

As for more babies in the future? Savannah admitted she and her political and communications consultant husband “would absolutely” love to one day give Vale a little brother or sister.

“I don’t know if that’s on the cards for us, but we’ve had such an amazing experience with Vale [that] I’d be thrilled if we had another baby,” she told ‘Daily Mail Australia.’
