While discussing the rising number of men who are now getting the non-invasive cosmetic procedure on this morning’s TODAY Show, Savannah shocked her co-hosts by revealing she received Botox injections five years ago.

“I have done it, I did it in 2009,” she told Matt Lauer, Al Roker, and others in Studio 1A while reflecting on her appearance in a photo taken of herself with President Obama in an October 2009 interview.

“Really, I did it, I was working here [at the time],” she continued. “[I had it] in my forehead, that’s where everyone did it.”

Though she admitted to not liking her appearance after the procedure, the new mom did say she would consider getting Botox again in the future.

“I have never done it again,” she said. “I’m not saying I wouldn’t though; I would. And I mean, I’m definitely a candidate for Botox… Because of wrinkles. On your forehead, they’re supposed to smooth them out.”

Savannah returned to her co-anchor duties on TODAY this past Monday, Nov. 3, after being on maternity leave following the birth of her daughter, Vale Guthrie Feldman, in August 2014.
