First kisses are always awkward, but imagine having to go through it with a camera trained on you!

Luckily for Sarah Jessica Parker, she had a rather pleasant first kiss experience, despite it being watched by a handful of crew members!

“I was paid to do my first kiss on camera. I don’t recall it being awkward,” Sarah Jessica told Closer of the smooch. “I can’t speak for the other party, but I enjoyed it!”

The mom-of-three, who began acting at a young age, landed her first role in a TV movie when she was only 9. She later gained worldwide fame in the ’90s for playing Carrie Bradshaw in the hit series Sex and the City and is now happily married to fellow actor, Matthew Broderick.

The 49-year-old recently opened up about how she’s dealt with negative comments throughout her four-decade career, especially in the age of social media.

“I see mean stuff every day. When I look at Twitter I scroll with one eye open and one closed,” Sarah Jessica revealed of looking through comments on her Twitter account.

Though she doesn’t typically respond to hateful remarks, she lashed out at one user last month who insulted her children.

“I can’t figure out what she [the Twitter user] hated so much about me that she did that. And I just can’t imagine anything lower than that,” she said at the time.
