This is so sweet. For years, Sex and the City co-stars Sarah Jessica Parker and Kim Cattrall have been embattled in a rumored feud but this week, the two put their differences aside after Kim’s brother sadly died. When Kim, 61, confirmed her sibling Chris Cattrall’s death on Instagram, Sarah Jessica, 52, took time to send her “love and condolences” to the actress.

“Dearest Kim, my love and condolences to you and yours and Godspeed to your beloved brother. Xx,” SJP commented on Kim’s post. The two ladies starred alongside Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis on HBO’s Sex and the City from 1998 until 2004. Following the news of Kim’s brother’s passing, Cynthia, 51, also wrote to her co-star, “Hey Kim, such awful news. So sorry to hear. Sending you love. XO.”

After reading Sarah Jessica and Cynthia’s kind words, Kim took to Twitter to thank her co-stars for reaching out. “I would like to thank my fans, friends, and my #SexAndTheCity colleagues for the outpouring of support for myself and [my] family over the past 72 hours,” she wrote.

Hours earlier, Kim had announced Chris had died after going missing. “It is with great sadness that myself and my family announce the unexpected passing of our son and brother, Chris Cattrall. At this time we ask for privacy but we want to thank you all on social media for your outpouring of love and support in this trying time,” she captioned a photo of herself and Chris on Instagram.

On Sunday, Feb. 4, Kim asked her social media followers for help locating her brother after he disappeared from his home. “MISSING! This is my brother Christopher Cattrall or Chris, as we call him. He has been missing since Tuesday, Jan. 30 from his home in Lacombe, Alberta, Canada. His keys, cell phone, and wallet [were] left on the table and his front door [was] unlocked. This is not like Chris,” Kim wrote on Instagram.

“He would never leave his unlocked home without those items nor his seven beloved dogs. Chris is 55 years old, six feet tall, 200 pounds, [has] blue eyes, short brown hair, [a] goatee, [is of] average build, and [is] usually wearing a waist-length hooded winter coat with black gloves, blue jeans, and calf-high black winter boots,” she continued. “He’s a one of a kind brother. Help us bring him home safe. Please spread the world. Many thanks for reading this, Kim.” Our thoughts are with Kim and her family during this difficult time.
