In the wake of Roseanne Barr revealing she is going blind, a special someone is coming forward to share well wishes — her former TV daughter, Sara Gilbert.

“I love Roseanne so much, and she’s such a strong person and such an important person in my life,” Sara, 40, said during a Tuesday, April 21 discussion on ‘The Talk.’

“I know she’s a fighter and I know she’s strong. I truly believe that if anyone can do it, she’ll have her sight as long as possible,” she added.

Earlier this week, Roseanne, 62, confessed she is slowly losing her eyesight from Macular degeneration and glaucoma. Though doctors have not yet determined when she will go blind, Roseanne said they’ve told her that her “vision is closing in” as she continues to age.

“We all hate to think of anyone we love dealing with something like this,” Gilbert said. “Eyesight is such a big thing and such a big thing to lose,” Sara — who played Roseanne’s daughter Darlene Conner on the hit ABC sitcom ‘Roseanne’ from 1988 until 1997 — said.
