Sara Gilbert, Linda Perry Spotted Without Rings After Split: Photos

Amicable exes? After Sara Gilbert submitted the paperwork for a legal separation from her wife of more than five years, Linda Perry, on Friday, December 27, the Roseanne actress was spotted around Los Angeles without her wedding ring on. The 4 Non Blondes frontwoman was also didn’t appear to wear her wedding ring while stopping by Sara’s house to pick up their 4-year-old son, Rhodes.

As soon as the little man saw his mom, he ran into her arms and Linda, 54, quickly picked him up. She then fixed his clothes before they went off to run some errands together in Los Angeles.

When Sara, 44, filed to separate from her longtime love, she cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason. As it turns out, Linda was shopping for a house months before the paperwork was filed.

“Linda bought a new home in August in Sherman Oaks,” an insider recently told Closer Weekly. “The house is only in Linda’s name. The house is a new build. Gorgeous, modern, a very tech savvy home with 5 bedrooms, a pool and privacy as it’s tucked into the hillside. The house has been ready to move into since Linda bought it back in August.”

“The neighbors have all been wondering why they haven’t moved in yet,” the source continued. “The house was turn-key and ready to be lived in.” Linda’s new neighbors finally got their answer after news broke that the former lovebirds were separating.

“Now it all makes sense. It seems the couple knew they were headed for a split a long time ago,” the insider added. “Linda went house hunting so when they finally did separate she would have a back up home to move into, to make the transition as smooth as possible.”

The former couple, who began dating in 2011, announced their engagement in April 2013 and married in March 2014.
