Awards season has just began and Sandra Bullock is already a big winner!
The actress took home four trophies at last night’s People’s Choice Awards, making her the night’s top recipient.
“It looks like I spent Friday nights staying home and voting for myself!” the 49-year-old joked while accepting the award for Favorite Movie Actress.
Sandra also took time out to thank her adorable 4-year-old son Louis “for letting me come out tonight.”
She also explained her victories to her son by saying, “Sweetie, it’s because people work a lot harder than mommy did to make her look good.”
The star's other trophies were for Favorite Comedic Actress, Favorite Dramatic Actress, and Favorite Movie Duo alongside “Gravity” costar George Clooney.
The night’s other big winners included Ellen DeGeneres, who won her record 14th People’s Choice Award, this time for Favorite Daytime TV Host.
While accepting the award, Ellen joked, "As a young girl growing up in New Orleans, if anyone would have told me I was going to win 14 People's Choice Awards I...I mean 12, yes. 13, maybe. But 14?"
Justin Timberlake proved to be one of music’s top winners, nabbing three awards, including one for favorite album.
And like any good husband, he thanked his "beautiful wife" Jessica Biel, "for teaching me patience and the little things like just putting the dishes in the dishwasher. It goes a long way. Fellas, you're welcome."
