When Sandra Bullock isn’t working on her next big movie, spending time at home with her son Louis, 9, and her daughter Laila, 7. However, there are a few times when you can spot the 54-year-old actress out and about with her kids in L.A. — like when they recently went out for brunch at Soho House with Sandra’s beau, Bryan Randall.

When the foursome stepped out of the car and walked into the restaurant, Bryan, Sandra and the kids appeared to be accompanied by an older woman who could have possibly been the 53-year-old photographer’s mom. After all, Sandra and Bryan have been dating since 2015 so it’s very possible that they met each other’s parents already.

Since they’ve been dating for such a long time, Bryan might have even introduced himself to Sandra’s dad, John W. Bullock, before he passed away at age 93 in September 2018. “[Bryan] has been a constant source of support … Bryan makes her feel safe and completely takes care of her,” a source previously shared to Us Weekly shortly after John died. “[He’s her] rock. It’s a sad time. Sandy is surrounded by Bryan, the kids, and her family.”

Even though some people might wait a while before they introduce their kids to the person their dating, Sandra had no doubts in her mind that Laila, Louis and Bryan would get along. “For the kids he’s sort of No. 1 and I’m No. 2.,” Sandra once joked. “But I get it because he’s more fun and has better treats.”

If you think being a big-time actress is the only thing that Sandra cares about, think again. “[Motherhood] is my purpose,” she gushed on Today. “I don’t leave that much and I don’t work that much anymore, either. My priorities are my kids. That’s it.”

A source close to Closer Weekly even said Bryan “is an amazing, dedicated father” to Sandra’s children. How sweet!

With Sandra as their mom, Laila and Louis are growing up to be very well-behaved children. “Lou is super sensitive,” she shared to InStyle. “He’s wise and kind.” However, the mom-of-two admits that Laila is not the same as her brother. “She’s a fighter. She fought to keep her spirit intact,” Sandra gushed. “Oh my god, what she is going to accomplish!”

Having kids has also taught Sandra the real meaning of fear. “I know now what it feels like to be afraid every single day because I love my kids to the point where I’m a little neurotic,” she explained on L.A.’s KTLA 5 Morning News. “When they leave the house and go to school I check my phone constantly … did the school call?”
