Ryan Reynolds Reveals He Wants to Have 9 Daughters

Ryan Reynolds already has one daughter — but he wants a bunch more!

“I can’t get enough of [fatherhood]. If I could have nine daughters, I would be thrilled,” the 39-year-old actor admitted in a new interview on SiriusXM EW Radio.

“My brothers and I, there’s four of us, we would destroy the house,” he continued. “I was eight-years-old and I could patch and drywall at eight. We could actually repair an entire hole in the wall in our house within 15 minutes.”

“That’s part of the reason I don’t want boys, I don’t want a wiffle house,” Ryan said, adding he loves “being surrounded by estrogen.”

Ryan and his wife, Blake Lively, 28 — who married in September 2012 — welcomed their first child, daughter James, in December 2014. During his SiriusXM EW Radio sit-down, the proud dad also gushed about first meeting his future wife while they were on a double date with other people!

“About a year after [we costarred in] Green Lantern… we were both single we went on a double date — she was on a date with another guy and I was on a date with another girl — and it was like the most awkward date for the respective parties because we were just like fireworks coming across,” he said.

“We were buddies for a long time, which I think is the best way to have a relationship, to start as friends,” Ryan added of his marriage to Blake.
