Scroll down to see five exciting royal family predictions for 2018!

1. Meghan Markle will get pregnant

This would be the cherry on top of an already stellar year for Meghan and Harry and it doesn’t take a fortune teller to call this one. The adorable couple have already revealed they’d love to start a family “in the near future” and we reckon they’ll waste no time making their wish come true shortly after saying “I do” in May.

Insiders recently told Woman’s Day that the 36-year-old actress has already enlisted the help of nutritionist and fertility specialist Melanie Brown to help her get pregnant. “Melanie was [recently] at Nottingham Cottage for around an hour checking Meghan’s vitals, looking into her health history, and taking as much information as possible to devise a special diet for both her and Harry to stick to,” a palace source recently revealed.

“While Meghan’s hoping she won’t have problems conceiving when they start trying for a family, she’s also aware she’ll be almost 37 by the time she does,” the source added. Meanwhile, Harry is a complete and utter softie around kids and has spoken openly about being ready to become a dad. “I’ve longed for kids since I was very, very young,” the 33-year-old has said.

2. Princess Eugenie will get engaged

Given all the attention Prince Charles’ sons get, it’s easy to forget there are other royal love stories playing out! And the next royal wedding announcement has to be from Princess Eugenie, 27, and her boyfriend of six years, Jack Brooksbank, 29.
Wedding rumors swirled in 2016 after the youngest daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York was pictured with a ring on her wedding finger and it’s been reported the long-term lovers have made a “wedding pact” to get married soon. Imagine getting two royal weddings in one year!

3. Kate Middleton and Prince William will have a baby girl

Call it a hunch, or the fact the bookies are certain, but our money is on William and Kate’s third child being a girl named Alice. If there’s one thing we know for sure it is that William and Kate will most definitely opt for a classic moniker, drenched in history. Their firstborn son’s full-name name is Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge, a nod to the Kings that came before him. While their daughter is Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana, in honor of Queen Elizabeth and her late grandmother, Princess Diana. So far, the bookies’ firm favorite for a girl is tied between Alice and Victoria, both regal-sounding names with long-standing royal ties. Alice was also a frontrunner during the countdown to Charlotte’s birth in 2015. It was the name of one of Queen Victoria’s daughters and Prince Philip’s mother.

4. Charles will take over more of the Queen’s duties

In April of this year, the Queen will celebrate her 92nd birthday. If you ask us, there’s no one more deserving than the monarch to put the foot on the brakes with her grueling royal duties and to spend more time with her retired husband, Prince Philip. And the wheels are already in motion with Her Majesty handing over several important roles to her first-born son, Charles. In November 2016, the Queen took a back seat and gave the future King of England the green light to be the main royal representative for Remembrance Sunday. The subtle changing over of the duties marks a significant chapter in the royal family as it signals Charles’ grooming for the top job of King as his mother enters her mid-90s, and it’s going to be a sign of things to come in 2018.

5. Pippa Middleton will have a baby

She might not be an official royal family member, but Pippa’s first pregnancy will still be huge news. We predict Pippa and her husband, James Matthews, will announce their happy news in the coming months. We have no doubt Kate will make the best aunt and George and Charlotte would love to welcome another cousin into the fold.
