Rosie O’Donnell‘s estranged wife, Michelle Rounds, is again speaking out about her divorce and custody battle with the star — and adamantly states the former couple’s two-year-old daughter, Dakota, should live with her because she’s the “better mother.”

“Honestly, I used to be afraid of Rosie, but I’m not afraid of Rosie anymore because I want what’s best for Dakota. And what’s best for Dakota is to be with me. I am the better mother. Dakota should be with me,” Michelle, 42, said of her ex, 53, in a new interview.

“Divorce is really hard, but imagine going through a divorce with a celebrity, somebody who is very, very powerful, someone who has all the media and publicists and all that behind them. I’m just a normal person, [it’s] David versus Goliath,” she told ‘TMZ.’

Last week, the consultant — who married Rosie in June 2012 and announced they had adopted Dakota in January 2013 — criticized the former ‘The View’ co-host’s hands-off approach to parenting and said the star leaves Dakota with “24/7 nannies.”

“I just want my child to have the best possible environment to grow up in a normal life. Right now she has 24/7 nannies over there at Rosie’s house,” Michelle told ‘Entertainment Tonight.’

In another report, Rosie’s ex further claimed the actress “drinks a bottle of wine nearly every night” and “regularly smokes weed.” While recently speaking to ‘TMZ,’ Michelle alluded to the star’s drug use and said, “The truth with prevail in court. The truth will come out.”
