Fans cannot wait for the Roseanne reboot, but what they're most excited about is the exciting new storylines the revival will bring! ABC released some new preview clips on Monday, Dec. 25, and one teaser jokes about Dan Conner's death from the series finale.

In the video, Dan Conner (played by John Goodman) is watching a basketball game with daughter Becky Conner (played by Lecy Goranson). Roseanne Conner (played by Roseanne Barr) then walks in and asks John how the game is. "I still think the Bulls of 1996-1997, would have beat these guys anytime," Dan replied, to which she quipped back, "You can’t live in the past, Dan! When things are gone, they’re gone forever." The short scene ends with Roseanne's iconic laugh — how classic!

At the end of Season 8 in 1997, Roseanne revealed her husband died of a heart attack. She then shared that the entire last season was a dream — including the Conner family winning the lottery. In a previous interview, John said "there might be a funny reference to it" when asked how the reboot would address Dan's death. Clearly, he wasn't lying!

Another teaser showed Roseanne watching the basketball game with Dan and their other daughter Darlene Conner (played by Sara Gilbert). During the preview, Roseanne asks a series of silly questions about the game. Too funny! One more clip showed John laying down watching the basketball game, but he was talking about football and concussions as if that was what he was watching (don't worry, Roseanne reminds him that he's not)!

On Wednesday, Dec. 27, ABC also released a behind-the-scenes clip of the entire cast doing a table read — and honestly it's so great to see the original cast back together on-set! The show's reboot premieres on March 27, and we're already counting down the days!
