The ‘Roseanne’ Cast Reacts to Roseanne Barr’s Racist Tweet and the Reboot’s Cancellation

Funny how quickly Roseanne Barr went from apologetic to combative. On Tuesday, May 29, the reboot of her show Roseanne was cancelled by ABC, despite a very successful first season back. The move was in response to Roseanne herself comparing Barack Obama's former aide Valerie Jarrett to "an ape."

Don’t be fooled. This is all for #Roseanne.

At first, Roseanne acknowledged she was wrong, and stated, "I just want to apologize to the hundreds of people and wonderful writers (all liberal) and talented actors who lost their jobs on my show due to my stupid tweet. I did something unforgivable so do not defend me."

However, less than a day later, she's quickly begun feuding with many of the cast members that have spoken out against her comments, including Sara Gilbert and Michael Fishman, who played her on-screen kids. Emma Kenney, her TV granddaughter, was willing to go so far as to quit the show, until she found out it had already been cancelled.

Now, Roseanne is on a retweet spree, showing love to people who support her, and calling pretty much everyone else "anti-semitists," "conspiracy theorists," and, "fake news." She also repeatedly said that she can't be racist because she's jewish. Yikes.
