Ron Perlman Is a Dedicated Dad of 2 Kids! Get to Know His Daughter Blake and Son Brandon
Ron Perlman is known for playing some intimidating characters in movies like Hellboy and Beauty and the Beast, but in real life, he’s a big softie for his two kids. The Sons of Anarchy alum is the dedicated and loving dad of daughter Blake Perlman and son Brandon Perlman.
Ron shares his children with his estranged wife, Opal Perlman, whom he married in 1981. Although fans thought the Pacific Rim actor and Opal would be together forever, he shocked the world when he filed for divorce from his longtime wife in November 2019.
His request for the dissolution of their marriage, which cited irreconcilable differences as the cause, People reported, came just months after Ron was first spotted kissing former StartUp costar Allison Dunbar six months earlier in May. “They definitely seem like an item,” an onlooker told In Touch Weekly at the time.
“[They were] very touchy-feely,” the source added, noting Ron even had his hand on his Allison’s lap at one point during the meal and he “wasn’t wearing a wedding ring.” Even though Ron and Opal’s divorce has yet to be finalized, the star and Allison have been seriously dating, and by the looks on social media, it appears they’ve even moved in together.
Before news made headlines that Ron officially filed for divorce, a source suggested to In Touch that he and Opal had “what seems like an open relationship.” According to the insider, “Everyone thought Ron and his wife lived very separate lives.”
Fans even wondered if there was more to Ron and Allison’s relationship after the blonde beauty shared a photo with him and his daughter, Blake, in February 2018.
“The Perlmans and the Dunbars,” the Crazy Ex-Girlfriend actress captioned a photo of her, Ron and Blake eating dinner at a fancy restaurant in Cleveland, Ohio. “Two dynasties collide over the avocado salad. Love my new friends a lot.”
Since then, Blake has been featured on his dad’s girlfriend’s Instagram a few times. “Din din with my girl @blake_perlman,” Allison captioned a pic of the two out to dinner, while she also uploaded a photo of the duo wearing matching jackets. “TBT: The Jean Team. Decked in denim and searching for grilled cheese,” Allison penned.
