Talk about a hefty tax bill!

According to newly filed documents, Robert De Niro, 71, was recently slapped with a more than $6.4 million tax lien from the government.

The Oscar winning actor reportedly learned of the unpaid bill — which totaled $6,410,449.20 — from news accounts on Thursday, Feb. 26.

Soon after, Robert wrote a check to cover the full amount and had it hand-delivered by day’s end to government offices in NYC, his spokesman confirmed.

The original tax lien documents were allegedly filed against the ‘Meet the Parents’ star’s multimillion-dollar Tribeca investment property on Feb. 3. The IRS reportedly first notified Robert of the unpaid taxes in 2013, but the notices were delivered to the wrong address.

The actor and his wife, Grace Hightower, live in one of NYC’s priciest apartments located on Central Park West. Their rent is reportedly $125,000 per month.
