Rita Moreno, 87, and Daughter Fernanda Look Lovely at Peabody Awards As Actress Is Honored — Have a Look!

What a night it was for legendary actress Rita Moreno, who not only was honored with the Career Achievement Award at the 78th annual Peabody Awards, but she got to share the moment with her daughter, Fernanda Fisher.

The event took place on Saturday, May 18, at Cipriani Wall Street and focused on the best stories in broadcasting and digital media. The West Wide Story star, 87, was honored for her incredible career that has spanned 70 years. “I am keenly aware of the high value Peabody places on storytelling and I am humbled that you consider the story of my life and career worthy,” the icon said in her acceptance speech.

With the award, Rita is now in rare company, as she has reached PEGOT status — she has won a Peabody, Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony award. Her daughter, 52, got to witness her mom’s special moment.
