Ricky Martin is getting married!

The music sensation announced that he is engaged to his boyfriend, Jwan Yosef, during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Wednesday, Nov. 16. The two have been together for more than a year.

“We just got engaged,” Ricky, 44, revealed to host Ellen DeGeneres. “I’m sweating!”

“I got on my knees and I took out the little metal box. I just had it in a little velvet pouch and instead of saying, ‘Will you marry me?’ I said, ‘I got you something!’ Bad,” the “Livin’ La Vida Loca” singer explained. “Then he was like, ‘Yes.’ I said, ‘I want to spend my life with you,’ and he was like, ‘What is the question?’ ‘Would you marry me?’ That’s it.”

Ricky is already a dad to eight-year-old twin sons, Valentino and Matteo, who fortunately get along great with Jwan. “They love each other. It’s perfect, Ellen,” he added. “It’s been really special.”
