REPORTRichard Gere and Carey Lowell Finalize Their Four-Year-Long Divorce

Richard Gere and Carey Lowell‘s marriage is officially over.

The couple reportedly finalized their four-year-long divorce on Tuesday, Oct. 18 in Manhattan Supreme Court. According to Page Six, neither Richard, 67, nor Carey, 55, were present in the courthouse at the time of their divorce settlement.

The former couple — who are parents to one son, Homer, 16, together — previously tied the knot in 2002 and announced their split after 11 years of marriage in 2013.

Following their breakup, the Pretty Woman star and his second ex-wife — he was first hitched to Cindy Crawford from 1991 until 1995 — spent four years hashing out their divorce in court. Though they quickly agreed on joint custody of their son, Richard and Carey appeared in court countless times to fight over the actor’s nearly $45 million fortune.
