We are so ready to think happy thoughts and fly after hearing the exciting news that Tinseltown’s sweetheart, Reese Witherspoon, is going to be the next Tinker Bell!
According to People, the blonde beauty is not only going to star in the newly slated live-action film based on the character from Disney’s Peter Pan, she is going to produce it as well —now that’s what we call some serious girl power!
Though there isn’t a date set yet for filming and it’s merely in the planning stages, we can barely control our happiness. It is a smart business move on Reese’s part after the recent box-office success of other Disney adaptations such as Maleficent and Alice in Wonderland.
