Reba McEntire is getting candid about her divorce from Narvel Blackstock.
"The divorce was not my idea. I didn't want it in any shape, form or fashion. So, it was really hard to make the adjustment when someone's not happy. I just want everybody to be happy in their lives, because our lives are too short to be miserable," the 60-year-old country star said in a new interview with CMT's Cody Alan.

"I just thought it was the best thing to take my marbles and go play somewhere else, [that's] what [my] daddy used to always say," she added.
Reba and Narvel, 59, announced their separation after 26 years of marriage in August 2015. The former couple — who tied the knot in 1989 — are parents to 26-year-old son, Shelby. Narvel is additionally a father to three children from a previous relationship (including son Brandon Blackstock, who is married to Kelly Clarkson).
"I'm going to keep on loving life. I'm going to keep making new friends. I'm going to call the ones I love in my life — my friends and family — a little more often and I'm going to keep on telling them how much they are loved," Reba said following her divorce.
"I look forward to what's next. People always ask me, 'What are you going to do next?' Well, I dunno; God hasn't told me yet," she added.
