Queen Elizabeth Wanted To Deal With Thomas Markle Drama But Meghan Ignored Him Instead (Report)

Thomas Markle is in the news again! It seems like the holiday season put Meghan Markle‘s dad in the mood to reach out to his estranged daughter, as he has attempted to do so multiple times, but to no avail. But now a source is revealing that Queen Elizabeth herself was ready to deal with Thomas if Meghan hadn’t ignored her dad.

Last week, Thomas landed on everyone’s radar by not only revealing to the Daily Mail that Meghan used to be a daddy’s girl but also telling the outlet that he’s asked Meghan’s mom, Doria Ragland, why Meghan hasn’t reached out to him. Basically, Thomas is trying his best to squeeze himself into the royal family. But Meghan wasn’t having it as she chose to not even respond. As for the Queen, the source says she wanted to intervene and shut down the drama. The source told Vanity Fair, “The Queen was very concerned that it was spiraling out of control, which it was. Buckingham Palace wanted to be able to do something and be proactive and make the situation go away. It was a direction from the Queen, so her courtiers were under strict instructions to sort it out.”

The source continues, “But Kensington Palace was not singing from the same hymn sheet, and that was because the message was coming from Meghan. She didn’t want to engage and thought that she could handle it on her own.” Meghan has been forced into a lose/lose situation as her refusal to respond to her dad apparently created some tension in the family. The source adds, “There was a lot of tension between courtiers within the two royal households, and I think it just got to a point where it was a stalemate and, you know, neither could move.”

No one truly knows what Thomas’ angle is, and we’re not sure it’s currently relevant. If this was a drama on your favorite network we would find out that Thomas only tried to enter Meghan’s life to ask for money, and once he got it he would be gone like the wind. And that would leave Meghan crying in Uncle Phil’s arms. Wait, now we’re just thinking of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
