She’s such a proud “Gan-Gan”! During her annual Christmas speech on Tuesday, Dec. 25, Queen Elizabeth gave a sweet shout-out to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s unborn royal baby. “It’s been a busy year for my family, with two weddings and two babies, and another child expected soon. It helps to keep a grandmother well occupied,” the 92-year-old monarch told the English people in her address.

The two weddings that Queen Elizabeth mentioned were, of course, Harry and Meghan’s Windsor Castle nuptials on May 19 and her granddaughter Princess Eugenie‘s marriage to Jack Brooksbank at the same royal venue on Oct. 12. As for the babies born in 2018, Kate Middleton and Prince William welcomed their third child, Prince Louis, on April 23 and Zara Tindall gave birth to her second baby, Lena Elizabeth Tindall, with husband Mike Tindall on June 18.

Harry, 34, and Meghan, 37, previously announced on Oct. 15 that they are expecting their first child together. “Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the Spring of 2019,” the couple revealed via a Kensington Palace statement this past fall. “Their Royal Highnesses have appreciated all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public.”

According to a recent report, the Queen “can’t wait” for Harry and Meghan’s royal baby to join the family next spring. “Queen Elizabeth can’t wait. She has already splashed out on adorable baby clothes and toys and is keeping a close eye on Meghan, who she’s developed a special bond with,” a source told Life & Style.

Of course, the Queen isn’t the only royal family member who’s thrilled about welcoming another little bundle of joy. “Harry is glowing. He is ready to be a dad,” the Life & Style insider revealed. “Harry has always been an attentive husband, but more so than ever now that he’s going to be a dad. The pregnancy has only strengthened their marriage!”
