Queen Elizabeth Attends Royal Windsor Horse Show 2 Days After Birth of 8th Great-Grandchild — Take a Look!

It may be quite busy in the royal family at the moment, but Queen Elizabeth still took some time to attend day one of the Royal Windsor Horse Show.

The 93-year-old stopped by the event on Wednesday, May 8, just two days after the birth of her 8th great-grandchild, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor — a baby that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were over the moon for. “It’s magic, it’s pretty amazing,” the Duchess of Sussex, 37, said in her first interview since she gave birth earlier this week. “I mean, I have the two best guys in the world so I’m really happy.”

The head monarch got to meet her newest grandchild along with her husband, Prince Philip, on the same day too. “This afternoon Their Royal Highnesses introduced Her Majesty The Queen to her eighth great-grandchild at Windsor Castle,” a statement on The Sussex Instagram read. “The Duke of Edinburgh and The Duchess’ mother were also present for this special occasion.”

Quite the day for the Queen! She even threw in some horses — even if it was raining.
