Elvis Presley’s Ex-Wife Priscilla Is ‘Happily Single’ These Days

All well on her own! Priscilla Presley was married to one of the most legendary musicians of all time, but these days she isn’t out looking for a relationship.

“She’s happily single. She gets a kick out of the occasional gossip stories, the speculation out there about her dating life, but it’s not true,” an insider exclusively tells Closer Weekly. Elvis Presley‘s ex-wife has plenty of male friends, including a very famous one too.

“She loves her male friendships — [singer] Tom Jones being a very close one,” the source reveals. “She was close to Tom and and his late wife, Melinda, [and] he’s a dear friend, nothing more. Tom does gets naughty sometimes and jokes about romancing Priscilla, but she couldn’t.”

Priscilla and the “Heartbreak Hotel” singer were married from 1967 to 1973. They had one child together, daughter Lisa Marie Presley. While he has been gone 46 years, the actress still feels her ex-husband, especially at their home, Graceland.

“I feel his spirit here. Behind the gates is where he felt most comfortable, where he could just be himself,” she shared during an emotional interview on Today. “I can visualize him walking down the stairs. We would go out to the stables every morning and just talk. It was probably one of my favorite times.” Priscilla and Elvis led quite the glamorous life, but of course there were also rough times.

“I saw him at one of the most vulnerable times of his life. Losing his mother and then being drafted, which was devastating at the top of his career,” Priscilla continued. “I feel a big responsibility to them [his family].” She added, “Even now, there’s such a connection. We have so many things that you can’t share with anyone else.”
