Congratulations are in order for Princess Madeleine of Sweden — she’s pregnant with her third baby! The 35-year-old royal and her husband, Chris O’ Neill, announced the exciting news via her Facebook page earlier this week. “Chris and I are thrilled that I am expecting. We look forward to four becoming five!” Madeleine wrote.
The Swedish princess and her spouse, Chris, 43, previously tied the knot in a lavish royal wedding back in June 2013 at the Royal Palace chapel in Stockholm. The couple are already parents to daughter Princess Leonore, 3, and son Prince Nicolas, 2. Madeleine and Chris’ third baby is reportedly due in March 2018.

Earlier this year, Chris confessed in an interview with Swedish newspaper Expressen that he and his wife were looking forward to expanding their royal family in the coming years. “We want to have more children. Both of us want a big family. One or two more in future, absolutely!” he said. In 2016, Madeleine similarly opened up about being a “normal mom” to her two kids.
“It’s pretty much like a normal mom,” she told People of her morning routine with Leonore and Nicolas. “They wake me up and we fix breakfast together and the breakfast flies all over the place! And then we go out to the park and we swing, we try to do a lot of activities because my little Leonore, she has lots of energy, so we have to keep her stimulated and busy.”
Interestingly, Madeleine isn’t the only member of the Swedish royal family to be currently expecting another baby! The princess’ older brother, Prince Carl Philip, and his wife, Princess Sofia, announced in March that they are set to welcome their second child in September. The couple is already parents to a 16-month-old son, Prince Alexander. Madeleine and Carl Philip’s eldest sibling, Crown Princess Victoria, and her husband, Prince Daniel, are parents to two kids, Princess Estelle, 5, and Prince Oscar, 1.
