Princess Madeleine is Pregnant, Expecting Second Child With Husband Christopher O’Neill
The Swedish royal family is about to get a little bigger!
Princess Madeleine, 32, is pregnant and expecting her second child with her 40-year-old husband, British-American banker Christopher O’Neill, the royal court confirmed on Friday, Dec. 19.
“We are very happy and look forward to welcoming a new member to our family,” the couple said in an official statement.

Princess Madeleine and Christopher are already parents to a daughter, Leonore Lilian Maria, who was born on Feb. 20, 2014 in NYC.
It’s expected that Leonore’s new sibling — who is due next summer — will be born in Sweden, the princess’ representative revealed.

Princess Madeline — who is the youngest child of King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden and fourth in line to the Swedish throne — married Christopher on June 8, 2013 at the Royal Palace chapel in Stockholm.
