Oh no! Princess Eugenie is set to delay her marriage to Jack Brooksbank due to the royal family’s hectic diary schedule. The couple, who announced their engagement on Monday, Jan. 22, planned to tie the knot this September but have had to move their big day until October. For example, Eugenie’s cousin Prince Harry and fiancée Meghan Markle are planning to be in Australia in February for his Invictus Games.

“Eugenie and Jack are keen to tie the knot quite quickly, and there certainly wouldn’t be any issue as regards the booking of the chapel given who her grandmother is,” a royal source told The Daily Mail. “But the issue is that some members of the royal family already have commitments in the diary. There is nothing concrete yet, but it looks as if Eugenie and Jack will go for October instead,” the source elaborated.

“It’s now about finding the time and the date and getting it all organized, I think probably in the autumn some time, is the time every is looking at. We can’t fix a date yet, we’ve got to look at everybody’s diaries it’s a bit more complicated than that,” Eugenie’s father, Prince Andrew, told the BBC. The couple has chosen the same location for their wedding as Prince Harry, who is wedding Meghan Markle at Windsor’s St George’s Chapel in May.

The youngest daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, Princess Eugenie is eighth in line to the throne. The royal met her boyfriend, a former manager at Mahiki six years ago while on a skiing trip in Verbier. According to the official statement from Buckingham Palace, the couple became engaged earlier this month on a trip to Nicaragua.
