So sweet! Princess Eugenie has marked her royal wedding with Jack Brooksbank as one of the most monumental days of her life, and after seeing all the romantic photos, we don’t blame her. On Nov. 22, Eugenie blessed us with an unseen photo after the royal matrimony of herself posing with Jack — and all we can say is, “Aww!”

“[Throwback] to THE greatest day of my life,” Eugenie, 28, captioned the adorable photo of the joyous couple smiling arm-in-arm. While we wish we could’ve been a fly on that wall, we imagine the reception following the ceremony was as gorgeous as it was reported to be. See the adorable picture of Eugenie and Jack below!

#tbt to THE greatest day of my life

Apparently, Eugenie’s Oct. 12 wedding day wasn’t only the greatest day of her life — but also one of her mother’s favorite days, too! Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson recently said she still gets the chills when she thinks about her daughter’s immaculate wedding. As far as her favorite part? Fergie, 59, doesn’t have to think twice.

“My proudest moment was watching Eugenie standing tall, very proud to show her scoliosis scar in her low-backed dress,” Fergie, 59, told the Daily Mail of Eugenie’s Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos-designed wedding gown. “I’d gone to all the fittings and sat there beaming with delight, and because there was no veil it was a very strong statement.”

Eugenie made sure to wear an open-back gown that showed off the scar she got when she had surgery for scoliosis at the age of 12. While she could have easily covered it up and hid it from the world (literally), Eugenie decided to embrace it. Her reasoning? The surgery changed her life completely, and for that, she honors it.

The auburn-headed royal also requested to go without a veil, but had to make sure doing so was allowed at St. George’s Chapel where the ceremony was being held. “We rang St. George’s Chapel to make sure there wasn’t a special rule specifying veils must be worn, but there wasn’t and Eugenie just wanted to be herself,” Fergie admitted. “The tiara, borrowed from granny, danced to her. She was just so radiant. She said, ‘Mum, I thought I was going to get nerves,’ but she didn’t.”

Eugenie married the man of her dreams in a jaw-dropping fall wedding at Windsor Castle last month, and Fergie still tears up at the thought of it. “I always went to weddings and thought, ‘Why is the mother-of-the-bride crying?’ But I completely understand why now,” Fergie admitted. “It’s because it’s so amazing to think your daughter is now grown up, leaving home, and starting her own life.”
