Just when we thought tossing protocol to the wind was Meghan Markle's jam, apparently Prince Harry's cousin Princess Eugenie has inadvertently shown the world an interior part of Buckingham Palace that our eyes were never meant to see.

The picture in question? Well, the Princess recently took the sweetest snapshot of her dad, Prince Andrew, inside the palace and captioned the pic, "A wonderful and proud day celebrating Her Majesty's birthday and @HRHTheDukeOfYork for his first Trooping the Colour as Colonel of the Grenadier Guards." And while we can't stop looking at Andrew's proud, beaming smile in the pic, savvy royal fans have uncovered something else about the picture.

According to People, the very spot Prince Andrew is standing in the picture is rarely ever seen by the public. With elaborate works of art and portraits hanging on the pale blue painted walls and sculptures lining the hallway, this private area of the palace is definitely striking to look at. Not only that, but if you turn your gaze towards the bottom of the picture, you will get a rarely-seen look at the rub-red rug that seems to run the entire length of the lavish hallway.

Speaking of Instagram-loving royals, before she became the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan was an active social media user but now that she has climbed her way up the British royal family ladder, she's no longer allowed to have a personal account. So, why is Eugenie, then?

Like most things in the royal family it all comes down to rank and where Eugenie falls in line to the throne. Because Eugenie isn't a full-time royal (even though some reports suggest her father Prince Andrew wants his daughters to be), and has to earn a living with a regular nine to five job like us normal folk, it's believed she's allowed to run her own social media accounts as she isn't trying to portray the same message as top-tier roles.

While Prince William, Kate Middleton, Meghan, and Harry share their news and updates through the official Kensington Palace channels, which are run by a social media team, Eugenie is essentially a free agent.
