Here we are, now adding Princess Eugenie to the list of beautiful brides to get married at a royal wedding. There is seriously nothing quite like them. We mean, how often do you get to watch a real-life fairytale play out on television?

In the last decade alone there have been three major royal weddings, which really means three jaw-dropping wedding dresses — Kate Middleton, Meghan Markle, and now Princess Eugenie — and with that comes a lil bit of competition. After all, nothing says monarchy quite like aggressively trying to one-up your family members. So in the spirit of that, we decided to conduct a royal wedding dress showdown of sorts. Keep scrolling to compare Kate, Meghan, and Eugenie’s wedding gowns.

Kate Middleton

Kate wore a bespoke, long-sleeve wedding gown designed by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen. She also donned a stunning veil held in place by an even more stunning Cartier tiara lent to her by Queen Elizabeth. The back of Kate’s memorable gown included 58 organza-covered buttons and Rouleau loops and the train measured 8.85 feet long.

Meghan Markle

Meghan’s simple, long-sleeve wedding dress was designed by Claire Waight Keller for Givenchy. The form-fitting gown featured a long train and ballerina neckline. Additionally, the former Suits actress wore a five-meter-long veil made from silk tulle with a trim of hand-embroidered flowers in silk threads and organza. Last but not least, Meghan’s sported Queen Mary’s Sapphire Bandeau Tiara.

Princess Eugenie

Eugenie is the most recent bride to walk down the aisle and we must say, her dress did not disappoint. The born-royal wore a long sleeve dress with a modest, yet elegant train. The most notable feature was the deep-v neckline that had fabric that folded across her shoulders. In lieu of wearing a traditional veil, the 28-year-old sported a breathtaking emerald tiara lent to her by Queen Elizabeth.

Hmmm, we just can’t decide which dress we like best! It looks like we’re going to have to declare this a royal tie. Though, we will say that despite not getting as much hype, Eugenie’s nuptials were just as lavish as Meghan and Kate’s!
