Few people in history have had as big of an impact on the fashion world as Princess Diana.
And now, 17 years after the Princess tragically passed away, a collection of her iconic gowns will be going up for auction.
Some of the dresses up for sale include the beaded, petal-pink ensemble worn by Diana to a performance of “La Bohème” at the London Coliseum in 1993, the green silk georgette gown she wore to a 1993 banquet hosted by Malaysia’s head of state, and the burgundy wool coat dress she donned for multiple occasions in the late 1980s.
Julien's Auctions estimates each of the aforementioned garments will be sold for between $20,000 and $80,000.
The event will also feature a few special items that will surely make fans feel like a part of the royal family — bidders can vie for a slice of Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding cake and an invitation to the couple's April 29, 2011 nuptials!
The two-day Julien's Auctions event will be held in Beverly Hills on Dec. 5 and 6.
