She's looking so grown up! When Princess Charlotte stepped out at her younger brother Prince Louis' royal christening at the Chapel Royal at St. James's Palace in London on Monday, July 9, it wasn't her cute dress or timid smile that made headlines — it was her adorable new hairdo!
Once photos of the three-year-old princess at the special event hit the internet, many royal fans noticed that Charlotte was rocking updated hair. Instead of wearing her locks half-up or pulled back off her forehead by a hairpiece, Kate Middleton and Prince William's only daughter perfectly parted her light brown tresses down the center and accessorized her look with a bow headband.
People also commented that Charlotte's hair is much longer than it's been in the past and has lost a bit of its curl. "Princess Charlotte’s hair is getting longer! What a cutie pie," one fan wrote on Twitter with another similarly adding, "[Oh my gosh!] Princess Charlotte's straighter and longer hair catches my eyes!"
Though Charlotte's updated look stole the show at Louis' christening, Kate and Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle's gorgeous baptism outfits also made major headlines. While arriving at the church, Meghan, 36, was photographed wearing an olive green dress designed by Ralph Lauren. She perfectly accessorized her monochromatic ensemble with a matching belt, green pumps, an olive clutch and gloves, and a pretty green hat.
Kate, on the other hand, went for a more classic look by donning a gorgeous white dress created by Alexander McQueen. She paired the ensemble with a pair of nude pumps and a beautiful white headband adorned with flowers and birdcage netting created by London milliner Jane Taylor. This is the third time the Duchess of Cambridge has worn an Alexander McQueen frock for a royal christening. Back in October 2015, Kate wore a cream-colored McQueen dress with a matching fascinator for son Prince George's baptism and for Charlotte's July 2015 church blessing, she wore a stark white Alexander McQueen fit-and-flare dress with a coordinating hat.
