How cute!

In her first interview since giving birth to twins, Princess Charlene of Monaco revealed she was “overwhelmed with emotion” when the babies were born on Wednesday, Dec. 10.

The 36-year-old princess — whose husband of three years is Prince Albert II of Monaco, 56 — told ‘Paris Match’ magazine she is “crazy in love” with twins Princess Gabriella and Prince Jacques.

“Every second with them is magical. I look forward to spending more time in their presence,” Princess Charlene added.

According to palace sources, the babies are set to make their public debut “sometime next week” in Monaco, but will not be officially presented to the rest of the world until Jan. 7, 2015.

Until then, Princess Charlene has reportedly been enjoying her “strong bond” with her newborn children in private.

“I think a very strong protective instinct in me was born in the same time [as the twins],” she told ‘Paris Match.’ “I will do my best to guide them, raise them and send them the values that my husband and I share.”

Princess Gabriella and Prince Jacques are the first children born to Princess Charlene and Prince Albert II, though he has two older daughters from two previous relationships.
