Aww! When Prince William visited Shout UK on Monday, September 9, he sweetly revealed that daughter Princess Charlotte has a love for mythical creatures.

“My daughter loves unicorns,” the dad of three gushed about the 4-year-old royal. “Loves them.” Charlotte adores the majestic creature so much that she clipped a photo of one to her backpack when she started school with her older brother Prince George on Thursday, September 5.

“George is over the moon that Charlotte is attending his school,” a royal insider recently shared to Closer Weekly. “Despite their different personalities, they are very close. George is extremely proud of Charlotte and loves to show her off.”

You can bet that Charlotte and George will be best friends at school too. She “has met a lot of George’s friends,” the insider said. “He is such a protective older brother that Kate knows he’ll keep an eye on Charlotte.”

With a love of unicorns and a protective older brother, Charlotte has everything that she needs to make friends at Thomas’s Battersea. This year, she’ll also follow in her brother’s footsteps and take dance classes with her peers.

“She loves dancing and is already talking about wanting the lead in the school’s Christmas play,” the source admitted. Who knew that Princess Charlotte would already be having so much fun at her new school already? After all, Simon O’Malley, the Headmaster at the private institution, did welcome Charlotte to Thomas’s Battersea with open arms.

“We are delighted that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have decided that Princess Charlotte will join her elder brother” at school, Simon previously said in a statement that he released in May. “We greatly look forward to welcoming her and all of our new pupils to the school in September.”

We’re so happy for Charlotte and we hope that she still continues to believe in unicorns!
