How adorable! Prince George is already growing up so fast. Between starting school and becoming a big brother for the second time, the five-year-old boy is maturing before our eyes.
However, some royal fans think he sometimes shows off his shy side, but he's quite the opposite. "George takes a little while to warm up, but once he’s comfortable with you, he’s very chatty and charming," an insider told People.
In fact, George holds his own very well. "[He's] very independent now and not as interested in playing with [Princess] Charlotte all the time" another source added. "They are close, but George likes to go off and do his own thing."
This isn't the first time we learned about the life of George and Charlotte behind closed doors. It was recently revealed that even though George is getting older and older by the day, Prince William and Kate Middleton still haven't told their son he's the future king of England because they want him to have a "normal" life.
"With George they are trying to delay that moment of realization and give him normality before they thrust this on him," Catherine Mayer, author of Charles: The Heart of a King, once told the news outlet.
"It will be, nevertheless, part of his upbringing both in terms of what he sees his parents and grandparents doing and probably quite soon a beginning of an understanding that he is in public life and what that means," Mayer added.
And while George is living his life as a normal kid, Charlotte is busy being a little fashionista! Prince William gushed about his daughter while visiting London. He was gifted a pink satchel with her name engraved on it and shared how the little girl's reaction to it would be. "Charlotte will be obsessed with that — I'll never be able to get it off her," he said, according to Now to Love. George and Charlotte seem so fun!
