Prince William and Duchess Kate Serve Smiles and Sweet Treats During Visit to MyLahores Restaurant

How sweet! Prince William and Duchess Kate (née Middleton) put their drink-making skills to the test as they paid a visit to MyLahores in Bradford, England. The royal couple was all smiles despite being recently rocked by the news of Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan‘s (née Markle) decision to step back as senior members of the royal family.

The Duke of Cambridge, 37, and his wife, 38, looked happier than ever as they arrived at the flagship restaurant on Wednesday, January 15. The longtime pair — who tied the knot in 2011 and share kids Prince George, 6, Princess Charlotte, 4, and Prince Louis, 1 — traveled to Branford “to visit a number of projects which support the community and promote cohesion within it,” Kensington Palace tweeted.

As they arrived at MyLahores, Kate blew fans away while rocking a stunning forest green trench coat designed by Alexander McQueen. Underneath her gorgeous ankle-length jacket, the beloved duchess donned a black and white, plaid-patterned maxidress featuring a knotted-tie at the top of her neckline.

William, on the other hand, sported a navy blue peacoat and matching slacks as he stepped out alongside his beloved. As they went inside the restaurant to start making some sweet treats, the doting dad sported a white dress shirt, blue tie and burgundy sweater. They’re so regal!

The royal twosome’s outing comes less than a week since William joined brother Harry, 35, Queen Elizabeth, dad Prince Charles and a few other royal family members to discuss the future of the Sussexes. On January 7, Meghan, 38, and Harry — who tied the knot in May 2018 and welcomed son Archie, 8 months, in May 2019 — announced they were officially stepping back from their royal duties and will begin splitting their time between the U.K. and North America.

Although William was able to get his mind off the royal drama as he and Kate whipped up delectable drinks during the visit to MyLahores, we imagine he’s still pretty upset by the shocking news. In fact, a source close to the royal family confirmed a rift between the brothers.

“William’s done everything in his power to help his brother over the years and feels totally let down by his ‘reckless’ and ‘selfish’ actions,” the insider exclusively told Closer Weekly. “The way he sees it, Harry’s thrown all the good advice he gave him back in his face. When Harry was feeling low or had problems, William was always there for him, as was Kate.”

We hope the royal family can work it out.
