While Kate Middleton is on maternity leave, her husband, Prince William, is most certainly not on paternity leave. In fact, the mom-of-three has been feeling "overwhelmed" at home with their children while William continues to travel.
"Over the past couple of months William has been traveling the world fulfilling his royal duties, leaving Kate overwhelmed at home," a source told Life & Style. "She's even snapped at him a few times for not being around, even though it's his job."
Kate and William — who married in April 2011 — are parents to Prince George, 4, Princess Charlotte, 3, and Prince Louis, whom they just welcomed two months ago. Since Kate has given birth, she's been attending royal events less and less. She did attend Harry and Meghan's wedding and the Trooping the Colour this year, however, she recently missed the Order of the Garter.
William isn't the only royal family member Kate is fighting with at the moment, though. The 36-year-old is currently feuding with Prince Harry's new wife Meghan Markle as well. "Kate feels left out. They’re barely on speaking terms," a source explained to In Touch. "The popularity contest has caused a lot of friction at the palace."
And unfortunately for William, on top of arguing with his wife, he's in the middle of Kate's rift with Meghan. "Their husbands are at their wits' end. William and Harry feel stuck in the middle," a source told the news outlet. "William is doing his best to smooth things over." But it's not working. "The competition is out of control. Things are likely to go from bad to worse, and so much tension is built up." Here's hoping everything turns out for Kate and Will!
